Windows 10: Washed out cursors

    I just noticed after changing my cursor to a custom one that the color saturation on the cursor is weird, It looks slightly brighter/less saturated than it should beThe only ways i've found for it to display the colors properly is enabling cursor trail or dragging a windowI even tried enabling magnifier and at a 100% scale it shows the correct colors but when I close the magnifier it goes back to being washed outI don't know if it was an update since I've always used the default mouse but now it's really bothering meI also can't manage to take a screenshot using third party programs of the dif

    Awful washed out colors in Windows 10. Happens intermittently

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.

    cursor dissappeared

    Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

    Do you have any other suggestions?
