Our Fall 2019 L: [email protected] Game Pass showcase is almost here! Tune in Thursday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. PDT on the Xbox YouTube channel to see some great games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months from independent developers.

In this season’s showcase, expect announcements and gameplay for games from amazing publishers such as Devolver Digital, Team 17, Daedalic Entertainment, and more! We’ll also have interviews with other publishers who are excited to share more with you about their games that will be premiering day one into Xbox Game Pass in the future.

With Xbox Game Pass, our goal is to help you discover your next favorite game by bringing high quality games to you in curated game libraries on both console and PC. And for fans of games from independent developers, we have many great games you can play today as well as many more to look forward to! The second L: [email protected] Game Pass showcase is a wrap! In case you couldn’t watch today, you can find the video on demand (VOD) above. But if you want the TLDR, don’t worry – we have you covered with this episode recap.

In addition to announcing more games coming to Xbox Game Pass from independent developers, we shared looks of gameplay from L: [email protected] games you may have gotten a glimpse of at E3 such as Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Ikenfell. We also chatted with some of these developers such as Bloober Team, who were excited to share more about their game with you.

11 L: [email protected] Games Announced for Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass continues to be a great way for players of all kinds to discover their next favorite game. With these 11 titles joining the game library, we are excited to celebrate the creativity of independent developers and to help their games reach even more players.

Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta)

My Time at Portia: Gather, mine, and craft as you explore, adventure, and rebuild your Pa’s workshop. With many different activities to choose from, there is something for everyone.

Bad North: In this real-time tactics roguelite, tailor your strategy to the unique layout of each island as you defend your island kingdom against Viking invaders.

Gonner: Venture into this challenging 2D platformer as you traverse dangerous environments and battle formidable foes on your journey to cheer up your only friend.

The Banner Saga 3: In the final chapter of the award-winning Banner Saga series, the darkness closes in. New playable characters and deeper combat await you in this story-driven, strategic RPG where choices matter and carry over from The Banner Saga 1 and 2.

Yoku’s Island Express: Play as Yoku, a small postman, on a quest to rebuild the post-office and awake an ancient island deity in this tropical open-world pinball adventure.

Worms W.M.D: Dive into the best Worms experience yet with more destruction, new weapons, and crafting. And with single player plus online and local co-op modes, enjoy solo or with friends!

Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta)

Undertale: You’ve fallen into the Underground, a world brimming with monsters. In this humorous RPG, fight or negotiate your way out – the choice is yours.

Timespinner: As timekeeper Lunais, take on the Lachiem empire to avenge your family. Utilize time, magic orbs, and Familiars to defeat enemies in this story-driven action-platformer.

Unavowed: Seek salvation from a dark past as you join an ancient society dedicated to fighting evil in this point-and-click adventure with branching stories.

Machinarium: Aid Josef, a robot who must save his girlfriend from the Black Cap Brotherhood gang. Embark on an adventure filled with puzzles, quests, brain teasers, and mini-games.

For the King: A kingdom is peaceful no more and the queen calls for the citizens’ aid. Heed her call in this challenging and strategic RPG with tabletop and roguelike elements.

Coming Soon to Xbox Game Pass in August 2019

Happy reprioritizing-your-backlog-of-games-because-we-just-added-more-to-Xbox Game Pass day! We seem to celebrate this totally made up not real holiday a lot around here. (Seriously, have you seen Major Nelson’s backlog of games? He must shuffle that list around all the time.) How do you choose what you’re going to play next in your backlog? Go for what gets you the most achievements? Pick the games that have animals you can pet? Prioritize the fighting games so you can prove that you are a better fighter and not just a button masher no matter what your brother says? (that last one might just be us).

Let’s look at the games we’re adding to your backlog now. Reminder that you can install games directly to your console from the Xbox Game Pass mobile app! Get the games installed while you’re out, that way you’re that much closer to catching up with all those games.

Announcing ID@Xbox Game Pass on March 26

We are excited to announce ID@Xbox Game Pass, a stream highlighting great indie games coming soon to Xbox Game Pass, premiering March 26 at 9:00 AM PDT. In this show, you can expect to learn more about some of the hottest ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox Game Pass with new reveals, gameplay highlights, and conversations with the developers. Fans will be able to check out our first ever episode Xbox.

In our debut, we’ll dive into games previously shown at E3 and X018. Expect hits such as Afterparty, Void Bast*rds, and Supermarket Shriek to be highlighted. In addition to new game announcements, we’ll also share a visit to Night School Studio, the creative team behind the hit game Oxenfree, for a behind-the-scenes look at their upcoming game Afterparty. Extra made up bonus internet points if you tweet to us about your advanced frisbee college courses.
