Windows 10: Watchdog clock overtime blue screen error

Hello,


I've recently built a gaming PC; my specifications are as follows;


Intel i7-8700

GTX1070

Gigabyte B360M D3SH Motherboard

two Samsung 8GB DDR4 19200 RAM cards

Samsung EVO 500GB SSD

Superflower SF-600R12A Nova 80 Plus (a 600W PSU)


However, I have been getting a constant freeze at random moments, and at times I would get 'Watchdog clock overtime' error. I have absolutely no idea what is causing it.


(I never overclock my CPU nor my GPU and these freezes occur extremely randomly; even when I am not gaming but browsing web, watching netflix etc.)


I have tried the following;


Clean install

All kinds of Driver update (including BIOS)

re-installation of GPU


Although most of the times the computer does work, these random freezes/blue screens are really bothering me, and these following days (after BIOS update) I have been getting these freezes quite frequently, today being the worst with three consecutive freezes with two minute intervals.

CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT

I was opening Fox fire when my screen and it went blue with clock watchdog timeout error. I can not shut down computer or do anything. It has been stuck on error screen for a hour. Help.

 

Clock Watchdog Timeout error

I am trying to upgrade my Windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro, during Installation I get a blue screen with error
"Clock Watchdog timeout". I have Dell notebook 6430u with I7 and 8gig ram. This process of upgrading to new windows 10 takes along time, anyone have any suggestions before I start the upgrade one more time. I already check no viruses or malware,
