  1. Watchdog Initialisation..cannot boot to advanced options to repair pc

For some strange reason my PC boots up to Watchdog Initialization routine. I left PC on all night and morning to see it will restart..nothing happened...the problem is i cannot get into Advanced Boot up options to repair PC and pressing shift and F8 does nothing..as if i am locked out.

From previous users the issue could be Avg Antivirus driver problem i cannot use their AVG Rescue utility as i cannot see the desktop.

How do i sort this problem out ?

I am using a friends PC to post this thread

    :)
