Windows 10: Watchdog Violation and other issues from multiple wifi adapters

I recently started getting bluescreen crashes with the error code "DPC Watchdog Violation" and narrowed it down to happening when I had my USB WiFi adapter plugged in, a tiny EzCast adapter. I tried updating drivers but couldn't do much when my computer crashed everytime the WiFi adapter got plugged in. Aside from this I had also been having an issue with my wifi randomly entering a state of dipping between good connection and absolute 0 send and receive, so I figured it was time for a new WiFi adapter regardless. Frequent BSODs (DCP Watchdog Violation Error) and WiFi unavailable after crash.

I purchased an Asus Tuf A17 laptop around half a year ago. Had no issues until now.

Recently my laptop kept crashing while gaming stating a DCP Watchdog Violation Error which led me to suspect it's something to do with overheating. But even while performing normal tasks like using the browser, writing in a word file or sometimes even when the system is just idle, it goes to BSOD.

What happens after BSOD and reboot is the WiFi icon goes missing. The WiFi driver for some reason is unable to detect the hardware. This somehow gets fixed by itself after multiple restarts but then again after a day or so crashes with the DCP Watchdog Violation Error.

Another issue I have been facing is that my bluetooth devices disconnect after a short time and are unable to connect. When I try reconnecting it sometimes crashes throwing a DCP Watchdog Violation Error.

I tried multiple fixes, including:

• Uninstalling the WiFi driver
  
• Manually installing the WiFi driver
  
• CHKDSK
  
• Completely resetting the PC

"DPC Watchdog Violation" and "KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION".

I ran into a problem with the Avast firewall blocking connections to my wifi hotspot.
While trying out the suggested solutions I got BSOD "DPC Watchdog Violation" and then after a restarting and trying to connect again I got "KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION".
Coincidentally (or perhaps not) after the issue with Avast firewall cropped up I began experiencing issues with various USB devices.
I have two wifi adapters:-
Realtek RTL8723BE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC on board
TP-Link W822N Wireless USB Adapter
