Windows 10: Watermark says: Activate Windows

Hi,


I just can't understand what's going on with Windows 10 the Activation process.


I did a free upgrade from Windows 8.1 (valid product key) to Windows 10 Pro over a year ago.


Now I'm told to activate windows.


Yesterday the message said I have a valid digital license but today apparently I don't have one (error code 0xC004C003).


Is Windows going to stop working?


Maybe using the troubleshooter might help but not sure what the program does.

The Windows activation watermark is usually appearing if the activation servers detect that a device is not activated. For further help with activating your copy of Windows 10, visit this
link. If the same issue persists after performing the troubleshooting suggestions on the link, follow these steps:

• Using Cortana, type Notepad and then click on Notepad (Desktop app).
• Type the following commands in Notepad:
  • @echo off
    
    taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe
    
    explorer.exe
    
    exit
    
    
• 
  Save the file and name it as Activation.bat.
  
• 
  Change the Save as type to All files.
  
• 
  Locate the file, right-click on it and then choose Run as Administrator.
  
• 
  After running the file, restart your computer and then check if the same issue persists.

Activate windows watermark after update

Hi everyone! So I have a genuine copy of windows (originally 7) upgraded to 10. Today I had an update (my windows is set to update regularly)

and out of nowhere, I got an "activate windows" watermark. I tried to re-activate using my number but it says it "didn't work".

any suggestions? should I just contact support?

Activate Windows Watermark

I got this watermark on the bottom right of my screen that says "Activate Windows, go to settings to activate windows". So I do just that and it wants a product code... I have OEM System builder license but I don't have a disc tray to insert the windows
disc and there is no product code. Is there a way I can get this watermark removed without getting a disc tray?
