I'm running Windows 11 22000.2057 Before these days, I was getting updates day by day...yersterday, something weird happened, so the Windows Update Service wuauserv was gone, disappeared.This issue wasn't fixed until now, as Windows Update isn't working.This screenshot was captured after merging wuauserv.reg, but still, It's not working.What I did:- Tried to download wuauserv.reg from a website in Google Chrome, didn't get fixed.- Tried to check for viruses and malware, but nothing found.- Tried to delete some files from "temp" folder, didn't get fixed again.I tried to do everything but noth

Open Task Manager and click More if there aren't tabs across the top. Click on the Services Tab and click on the Name tab to alphabetize the list. Now scroll down to and right click on wauserv. Select Restart and wauserv should restart; if it doesn't, click on Restart again and that should make it tell you it's running. Give it some time between the first and second click.

 

Can I pause Windows updates several times?

But, after checking again online, I can see that there is the option to stop updating in Services.
