    Waves Maxxaudio Pro doesn't recognize headset


    So I just bought this Inspiron 14 3000 Series (3476) recently and after the latest Windows and BIOS update, I realized that the usual pop-up from whenever I connect the headset is gone but I have checked the advanced settings countless times to see if the pop-up option was enabled and it was. The volume even adjusts to the connection by decreasing by default, but it doesn't seem to get recognized at all. I am using the same headset for the time when it was working fine to now.


    P. S. I am aware of the other questions related to this but I'm asking anyway since there wasn't anything that mentioned the model that I have from what I found.

    Waves MaxxAudio® missing after installing Windows 10 x64

    Hi,

    I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro x64 from Windows 7 Pro x64 and Waves MaxxAudio® is missing. I have the latest Realtek but no Waves MaxxAudio®. Do I need that? Where do I get that? My Asus ET2311IUTH came with it though. But I can't seem to find it now. Thanks.

    Waves MaxxAudio Not Available Anymore? (Dell)

    Hello,

    Recently after installing Windows 10, I went into my Dell Audio app to change the EQ of my speakers and headphones with Waves MaxxAudio that I had with Windows 8 - 8.1, and the Waves MaxxAudio option is still there but nothing shows up to change anything.

    Is this not available anymore? I really miss my bass booster, my Aerosmith and ACDC songs just don't sound the same without the bass. Thanks for the help.

    Missing Waves MaxxAudio after windows 10 update

    It used to be one of my indicator that I have MaxxAudio Software is that I can see it as part of the list in "Programs and Features" in Control Panel. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 14 5458. After upgrading to Windows 10 and updating to the newest Realtek installer,
    I noticed that the icon for MaxxAudio in Programs and Features was gone. I access the folder for "Waves" via Realtek under Program Files folder in C drive and saw both the installers for 32 & 64-bit. Since I'm using 64-bit, the 32 bit won't work. Installing
    the 64-bit proved futile since I'm only redirected to the "repair" dialog box. After 10 reinstalls, I decide to go to
    Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Dell Audio where I saw the
    MaxxAudio Pro integrated. It now has a minimalist professional look to it. As it turned out after the update, it was there all along.
