Is there a way of minimising a window and only THEN highlight that window button on the taskbar?

I have looked up ways of minimising windows but none of them solve the problem I have.

I have two monitors and was recording a screen stream from monitor 2 when somebody else minimised that window apparently without clicks when the computer was briefly unattended. I can see this because the screen recorded it, but I don't know the exact way they did it. Cannot ask who it was.

What happened was they minimised the window on the second monitor, and the recording shows that on the taskbar on monitor 2 the active window button THEN changed to the window on monitor 2.

I ry to replicate the minimise in two ways. First way is click on the second monitor screen to make it active but that brings up on-screen controls, so that is not what they did. Then I try to replicate it by clicking on the taskbar button of that window on monitor 1 to use Windows+down arrow but that highlights that button BEFORE minimising the window.

Is there another way of doing this that would explain minimising the window and only THEN highlight that window on the taskbar, like sending a direct command over the network even though desktop sharing and desktop assistance is off, and what is it? Thankyou.

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Way of minimising windows without clicks?

    minimise single window keyboard shortcut

So setpoint with an anywhere mouse has a minimise shortcut option to associate with a button on the mouse, works fine. this is with my wireless anywhere mouse

but g400 with logitech gaming software, there is no minimise option, and no keyboard shortcut minimises just one window !

    so tilting
i use my two thumb buttons as minimise and close window, it makes working in windows a lot smoother/faster

any suggestions on this unable to minimise shortcut option?
