Windows 10: WD Backup not working all of a sudden in Windows 10

Discus and support WD Backup not working all of a sudden in Windows 10 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My WD Back up software was working fine and backing up in my 2TB WD HDD.     WD Backup not working all of a sudden in Windows 10


    My WD Back up software was working fine and backing up in my 2TB WD HDD. Since last one month or so, the WD Back up software does not take any back up even if I take a manual backup. WD support did screen share, reviewed all log files and finally came back saying its a Microsoft issue. I run Windows 10 Pro 64bit os. My laptop detects the HD. I can see it in Win Explorer and even in WD Backup. The Backup button in WD backup simply does not do anything.


    Can anyone help?

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Can't access files restored from wd passport

    I have looked at the numerous inquiries on this subject. Most are old and the suggestions do not coincide with the menu selections. So, I will try this.

    • New computer HP pavillion
    • Windows 10
    • Backup files stored on wd passport
    • restored the files to the new pc
    • can't view, access,
    • message that I don't have permission
    • tried to change permission
    • did not work

    Installing WD backup on Windows 10.

    I just bought a My Passport. I cannot get the WD Backup to install. During the process I get a message that says it cannot see a target drive. Any suggestions before I take it back to Best Buy for a refund?
