    But you are correct @RolandJS, there are standard SATA SSDs that just plug into standard SATA ports and power supply connections.

    Thanks everyone! I was only thinking PlugNPray SSDs and hard-drives for laptops; I totally forgot the original computer in question was a desktop with only standard bays, and should have included in my question how are SSDs installed into desktops, my bad! *Smile
