    WD Cloud CMD Prompt annoying pop up!


    So friend is having an issue I am trying to solve.After start up, log in, you can see the hour glass by mouse pointer, background stuff loading, but like every 2-5 minutes you will see it and then a CMD.exe will pop up and back down in less than a second. He says this happened after WebRoot found a virus and removed it. they even did a windows re-install, still there!I uninstalled a lot of Free game garbage etc... tried RKILL, found nothing. I have opened task manager and kept an eye on it, every time this starts to happen, you see the hourglass by mouse pointer, I can see WDCloud in Processes

    Bitsjobs cmd prompt random pop ups


    Hi all,

    After an attack of intrusive software which I have now resolved I keep getting command prompt popping up for a split second. I managed to capture the command with a screen recorder and slow motion play back..

    After reading a thread from 2014 on here I followed the advice given and tried to list the jobs but it reads listed jobs 0.

    Any advice. this pop up is driving me crazy!

    "winupdater.exe" CMD Prompt Pop-Up

    Today, I started getting a command prompt pop-up. It opens up and immediately closes. It's kinda annoying when I'm playing games because it messes me up. However, the name of the CMD Prompt is, "winupdater.exe".

    Please help!
