    Wdf_violation BSOD boot loop


    Something went wrong while updating to Windows 11. Now, it's stuck in a Boot Loop with a BSOD stating WDF_Violation, and what failed was "amdsfhkmdf.sys." I'm hoping someone can help me. And The model is an HP ENVY x360 Convertible.

    Windows 10 WDF_VIOLATION bsod on boot

    Every time I turn on my computer it tries to do a recovery but before it can I get a bsod. It says to look up WDF_VIOLATION. I have, but I couldn't a solution. I've created a recovery drive but it's useless because I can't access the boot options. What

    BSOD WDF_Violation When Trying to do a Reset or Clean Install with Media

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    1. There is no error code on the screen associated with the WDF_Violation BSOD.

    Pressing the shift key and holding the power button did no put the computer into recovery options, it simply booted into Windows 10 normally.

    I did attempt to boot while holding the F8 key putting it into Automatic Repair status and that resulted in the same BSOD WDF_Violation.

    The link you provided regarding the Bug Check 0x10D WDF_Violation did not apply as I don't have that error code, nor did it provide any details of how to correct it.

    Please provide some additional ideas.
