Windows 10: WDS 10 upgrade

Hello all
I have an Acer laptop with wds 7 home and want to upgrade by using usb media .
It went trough first part after looking for updates and stuck with this :
"Making sure you are ready to install" for all night ..?

wd 10 upgrade using f/d

resolved issue,,, per wd support couldn't find any issue on my pc,, so was advised to return to wd 7, and let the automated system run. next day pc had an error said you can't be upgraded you have a bad video card not compatible with wd 10 ???? ok fine
NVidia 3d card no wd 10 updates available because card is at eol end of life cycle.... card too old to support. even though it's part of the mother board.. removed drivers and forced Microsoft

std. vga drivers, reinstalled windows 10 with usb,,,,,,,all ok now! if anybody needs more info or help with this upgrade

windows 10 creator will not load defender with Malwarebytes

Just got automatically upgraded to Windows 10 Creator today and I see that WD won't load in the presence of another antivirus pgm but why not an anti-malware programs (i.e. Malwarebytes 3.x)? Is the new Creator WD providing anti-malware and anti-ransomware?
If not it should not excluded MB. Cannot find details on what Creator WD does and doesn't do.

The free upgrade is officially over. I know it was extended, unofficially and they threatened to close it Dec 31, 2017. I did one late in January but they may have been serious and closed the door.

That said, how did you create your USB media? Did you use the media creation tool?

Did you shut off secure boot and fast boot in your BIOS?
