Windows 10: WDS Capture Wizard Cannot See Disk

I have using a hybrid MDT/WDS model. I plan to capture an image I have created using WDS and then update my MDT Deployment Share with the captured image and use MDT to deploy it to other machines. However, after sysprepping the machine with the image and PXE booting into the capture wizard I have found that the Volumes to Capture drop down is empty.I opened the command prompt and used diskpart to try and view the disk, however it cannot see any disks at all. WDS holds the drivers for the particular machine I am using to capture the image, including the storage driver, and when trying to attach

Hi All,

I am having an issue with imaging a Dell latitude 5590 laptop from WDS.

I have configured WDS correctly i think as it is allowing me to capture an image and boot the laptop to the WDS server, but when I am on the screen where I need to select which partition to install windows on I am getting the following error: Windows
cannot be installed to this disk, the selected disk is of the GPT partition style

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Unable to create a reset passowrd wizard disk.

Hi,

This issue may arise due to the corruptions in the USB drive and as an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to use a different USB drive and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

Also follow the below steps to create a password reset disk:

Please be informed that password reset disks apply to local user accounts. If your Windows 10 user account is connected to your Microsoft account, then you can follow the steps outlined here by Microsoft to begin the password
reset process:

Now please refer to the below steps to create a Password recovery disk applicable for Local accounts.

• Log in to your computer under the user account for which you wish to create a password reset disk. Once logged in, connect your USB flash drive to one of your computer’s USB ports.
• Open the Start menu and type control panel
  into the search. Open the Control Panel by clicking it in the list of search results.
• In the Control Panel, ensure the View by drop-down at the upper right is set to
  Category. Then click the User Accounts
  link. On the screen that follows, click the User Accounts
  link once more. Doing so will take you to your user account settings.
• On the left side of the screen, click the link to Create a password reset disk. The password reset disk wizard will open in a new window.
• In the first screen that opens, click the Next button. In the subsequent screen, select the USB flash drive that you connected to your computer earlier.
• You’ll be asked to enter your password on the following screen; do so, then click the
  Next button. The wizard will now create your password reset disk.
• Ensure you keep your password reset disk in a safe place, as anyone with access to your computer can use it to reset the password for that user account.

Issue with capture image of windows 10 through wds

Hi,

i have installed WDS on server 2012 & upload BOOT.WIM & install.WIM on wds through windows 10 dvd. normally when i'm using wds for format my systems through normal image which i uploaded through DVD installation completed successfully, then i prepare WDS
for capture image system image captured successfully & image uploaded on WDS server. When i try to format the systems with captured image after installation system getting error (windows could not finish configured the system. to attempt to resume configuration
, restart the system) then i restart & same error happen.

Is this issue with my wds setup or my systems ? because i have updated all driver & software of captured Laptop (Lenovo E480) & tried many times but same issue happen. please help me.
