Windows 10: We are using Server 2012 R2 in VMware. We are getting the error message.

Hi All, We are using Server 2012 R2 in VMWare environment. We are received the below error message. Microsoft Windows Kernel Power error ID 41. "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."Please help us.

I have purchased the product key of Windows Server 2012 R2. Now the server is on Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation. I found a few links there they explained on how to convert from Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation to Windows Server 2012 R2 with valid product

Is this a correct way to do? If I follow this step, will my data be erased?

I want to avoid formatting/fresh Windows install because there are some software in the server that we do not know how to backup. We just want to get it activated now, backup will be sorted out later.

I installed a server 2012 standard version evaluation pack for testing and practices some topics.

i configured a DC in 2012 and ADC in 2008 by using VMware App and every thing fine but i getting a error message as above attached a image copy

So please suggest on this.

That must be one hefty machine, With the roles you want Server 2012 r2 that will be a minimum of 4 gigs and 7 and 8.1 are at least 1gig each.
