ha turned virus settings off, no properties to disable in startup. Tried restart twice and still same error.

google keystroke data colection, is this a potential security breach?

I think the title says it all. Does anyone know if this is a problem and when one enters a password are those keystrokes collected and stored? this is a potential for a mass security breach for anyone using Gboard? Because its kind of my only option on
my mobile device.

 

POTENTIAL SECURITY BREACH

I am of the few percentage of people in this world that do not have a computerized cell phone. Old school I guess. A basic old technology based flip phone that only does phone call. no texting or anything else.

Every month Microsoft "temporary" closes my IPad account and demands a cell phone number to authenticate me. And every month it takes hours and hours to deal with microsoft to have my IPad running again. They indicate that my account has been compromised
and yet it never shuts down my laptop. I can utilize that, just not my IPad.

I have never given Microsoft a cell phone number. Yet they insist they need it to verify me. How can they verify against something they don't have. This is a huge security breach waiting to happen. Someone decides to steal my stuff, needs to give a
cell phone to gain full access so they use a burner phone. Meanwhile, since I am locked out, I have no way of knowing I have been breached except now my password doesn't work. Except since Microsoft treats my account as "open season" for fraudulent activity
as long as someone, anyone, doesn't matter who, gives them a cell phone number.

This is terrifying. This is not security... and yet, this security issue cannot be escalated anywhere within Microsoft. Stay on phone for hours with agents who just transfer you to someone else because they are clueless...and each one is worse than the
one prior.

it is not PC or phone platform. it is IPad. but no option for that.

 

Unable to set default browser

• Does this issue happens while you try to set other browser as default too or is it specific to specific browser?

Any browser.

Already did the steps you suggested. It's some kind of bug where it's impossible to set a default browser at all.

I heard elsewhere from one other user that it seems to be a problem with upgrading to 10 on the SP3. Sounds very specifc.
