Windows 10: We can't sign into your account , please help.

I've been getting this error for 3 days now and i have no idea what to do! Everytime i try to sign in it just says "preparing windows" for a long time and then i get an error saying we can't sign in to your account , nothing you do will make any changes press sign out or dismiss , signing out won't do a thing as the error comes back.

Things i tried :

- Creating another account and giving it administrator permission (didn't work same exact error)
- Check for updates (no updates)
- The fix in this website : http://errorfixer.co/cant-sign-into-...ersary-update/ that involves editing the registry values , my values were already the ones in the article.

The strange thing is that very rarely it will work and i can use my PC normally and everything works , just today after booting into safe mode trying to find a fix and booting normally again i was able to sign in , but if i restart / shut down / sign out again the problem comes back.

I recommend you create a few system restore points. So, if something like this happens every again, you have a failsafe.

Not sure if you have resolved this error. If not, could I ask do you have restore points enable and would you consider restoring your system to a point before this started.

I assume from the way you are writing this was a working, functioning machine up until four days ago. I would pick a restore point that is at least a week old.
