Windows 10: “we couldn’t find a camera compatible with windows Hello face"

Please I have Lenovo ThinkPad X380 Yoga with a compatible IR camera but windows says “we couldn’t find a camera compatible with windows Hello face".I downloaded the IR camera for my model from my manufacturer's website.I installed it and restarted my PC and yet I couldn't find imaging device in my drivers list and not to even mention the IR camera I installed.The Imaging device did not appear, and the IR camera didn't also appear.

"We Couldn’t Find a Camera Compatible with Windows Hello"

I've been using Windows 10 face recognition, ie Windows Hello, for a long time without problems. Suddenly it stopped working and I discovered my security software was blocking access to the webcam. After I turned that protection off my apps, such as Zoom and Vivaldi, can access the camera again, however I can't get it reconnected to Windows Hello. When I go to Sign In Option in Settings it says that "Windows Hello Face" is currently unavailable. When I click on it it says it can't find a compatible camera. So far I've tried moving the camera to a different USB port, attempted to update the camera drivers (there are no driver updates available) and rebooted a few times, without success. Any suggestions for what to try next will be appreciated. Currently running Windows 10.0.19043.1889

 

Windows Hello

Hello,

I just got a new laptop MSI prestige 15 and I am unable to set my Windows Hello Face (fingerprint works fine). At the settings sign-in options it says that "This option is currently unavailable-click to learn more." "We couldn´t find a camera compatible
with Windows Hello Face." My windows is up to date.
