Windows 10: we have 200+ pro machines and all users were assigned with E5 license why it is not changed...

we have 200+ pro machines and all users were assigned with E5 license, why it is not changed to enterprise. how we can change those machines ?

Hi,

I have a server that is running hyper-v 2016 core and i would like to run a few windows 10 Pro virtual machines. Do i use the standard licensing or is there a different way of licensing the machines?

We are using Office 365 for our user accounts so can assign other licenses as needed.

Any help in this area is most welcome.

Windows Subscriptions Showing As "Not Active" With An E5 Licensed User

Hello, I am having an issue with about 40 laptops. We switched to E5 licenses from Business Premium licenses. Some machines are upgrading to Enterprise, some are not. For the ones which are not, I am see that their activation state is "Active" (for Windows Pro) but the Subscription shows as "Not Active". The licenses were rolled out slowly and I discovered that this issue was present before applying the licenses as well. The same users are also seeing that if they go to "App and Features" they are told they need to sign in. If they click the sign in button, they get a few blank dialogs to appear and disappear and then it still says they need to sign in. All machines are AzureAD joined with the user as the primary (and only) user. Any thoughts? I have tried many things but nothing has helped.
