For the past few days, data has been deleted from all our systems connected to the LAN. Our systems are using Windows 10. We tried scanning our data with multiple licensed antivirus programs, but none of them detected any threats. We even formatted our systems, but the issue still persists. In addition to data deletion, we have noticed several other irregularities, such as files not downloading from the browser, black patches forming over folder names in File Explorer, and changes to the system's date and time. Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

 

Lan and wifi connection switching randomly

Am running Windows 10 homewith HP laptop. I am connected directly to my cable/phone modem and, also, have installed Netgear router connected to modem. My internet connection keeps on changing from LAN to Netgear wifi. It is bothersome when trying to download and surf. Not sure whether it's a Windows problem or Netgear problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.

  Internet options.

  Use a Proxy server for your LAN.
