We have a problem of a folder of a software appearing again and again in Windows/program data and user/local/appdata. The software was never installed on our PC but was installed on a different PC on LAN. The software was uninstalled months ago but still it's folders are created on other PCs on LAN , every other day on different timings throughout 24 hrs. What can be the steps taken to identify which process is causing these folders to appear from nowhere? We checked registries as well as all pertaining cache but no use. LAN scenario - 3 desktops on LAN. A,B and C. The software was use

The program date folder contains application data for all users. The program date folder is hidden folder in Windows by default. As you are unable to find the program date folder, I suggest you to follow the instructions provided below.

• Open File Explorer.
• Go to the C drive.
• Click on view.
• Check on the box Hidden items.
• If you are still unable to see the program date folder then click on Options next to hidden items.
• Go to view tab.
• Under hidden files and folder, select show hidden files, folders and drives.
• Click on Apply and OK button.
• Now, again go to C diver the program date folder shall be available.

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
