I've run into an infuriating problem, to say the least.I just bought a PC running Windows 11, which insists that I have to make a PIN to log in. Every time I've tried to do that, it just throws a "We weren't able to set up your pin" error, which is possible to skip and get into Windows, but every time I log into the computer the same happens again. While I'm able to use my PC, the extra step that throws an error on me every time is getting on my nerves, and I haven't owned this PC for a whole week yet. After following every single solution to similar problems I've found on the Internet includi

PIN issue - signing in on a different computer

    Hi Zelina,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forum.

A PIN is local to the device. It isn’t transmitted anywhere and it isn’t stored on the server unlike password. When a PIN is created, it establishes a trusted relationship with the identity provider and creates an asymmetric key pair that is used for
authentication. PIN is tied to the specific device on which it was set up. That PIN is of no use without that specific hardware.

You can bypass the option to sign in with PIN while setting up the account on PC. You may try the steps listed below and check if it works:

    • Sign in with your boyfriend’s account.
    • Press Win + R keys together on the keyboard to open the Run dialog and type the following into the Run box: netplwiz
    • Remove your account from there.
    • Add your account again, skip the PIN setup when it prompts you to.

    Hope it helps,

Let us know if you got the help you need by clicking ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.

Computer freezes with buzzing sound on freshly installed Win 10 2004.

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate is listed 3 times in Device Manager:

    Driver details

    Keyboards:

    Mice and other pointing devices:

    Human Interface Devices (rzendpt.sys):

"We weren't able to set up your pin" on two different computers, one freshly installed [IMG]

    -------------------
Is it normal that I can see it 3 times? Both drivers under Keyboards and Mice and other pointing devices seems to be delivered by Microsoft. The last one is delivered by Razer.

Razer's FAQ suggests that Razer devices should be listed under Human Interface Devices:

"We weren't able to set up your pin" on two different computers, one freshly installed [IMG]

which makes me think that Windows could've installed those other drivers before I've installed Razer Synapse.

rzudd.sys is called "Razer Mouse Driver" for some reason:

I'm using Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro USB sound card for my audio device. On-Board audio is off in the bios atm.

I've installed both "Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro Software" (19th November 2019) which includes:

"We weren't able to set up your pin" on two different computers, one freshly installed [IMG]

& "Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro Drivers" (14th September 2020) after Windows installation.

What is the best way to uninstall the Creative drivers? Is it enough to uninstall all of those Creative related things through Programs & Features?

Few days ago while uninstalling Nvidia drivers with DDU I saw that there is an option to uninstall Creative drivers as well. Is it safe to use?

      Start menu
      .
    • Right click on the app and select Pin to taskbar option from the context menu.
