Windows 10: Weather temp displaying in taskbar

Why does the weather display the temp on my HP desktop when pinned to taskbar but when I pin it on my HP Laptop all I see is the weather icon no temp display? I would like laptop to be the same as desktop

I followed these steps exactly and the only thing showing in my task bar is a sun icon but not temperatures are being displayed.

In order for us to assist you on how to display the temperature application on your taskbar. Kindly follow these steps:

• Click the Windows or the Start icon.
• Look for the weather application under tiles.
• Right click it then select More.
• Choose Pin to taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the Steps to set your default location and check if that helps.

1. Type Weather on search and click on setting (Gear icon)

2. Select your location and set as default.

Follow the Steps to set Weather app in lock screen.

• Type Lock screen setting in Search.
• Under Choose an app to show the detailed status.
• Select Weather; restart your computer
