In the app it's set as Celcius. Advance Settings is in Celcius.Live tile NOT in Celcius.

How to change Farenheit to Celsius in a live tile of a Weather app

While what you suggest will work, I suggest getting another weather app. It's a lot faster than cleaning a mess after Microsoft, after all, this should not be a necessary step for anyone since it only happens in Microsoft apps so they should fix this, not the user. Personally, I have the opened app showing temperature in Celsius, and live tile showing it in Fahrenheit. It's set to Celsius in the settings. That's obviously Microsoft's app fault, not mine. I shouldn't be the one fixing it. Again, "I suggest getting another weather app. It's a lot faster".

Live tiles can be switched on or off, follow the steps below:

• On the Start menu, right click the Weather App tile.
• Point your mouse to More.
• From the options given, click Turn live tile on / off.

Note: After switching it on, wait for a few seconds and check if the Weather App live tile is now working.

The weather widget in the start menu shows the temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius.

I was about to report this same issue and discovered that I am not the only one experiencing it.

To reiterate, I have configured the Weather app for Metric units. The Weather app itself displays Celsius, the taskbar icon displays Celsius, even the News page displays Celsius, but the Live Tile insists on displaying Fahrenheit.

The bug seems to only affect the Live Tile on the Start page and only since last Tuesday's updates.
