Windows 10: Web authenticator OTP and QR code not working after change new laptop.

I changed to new laptop recently. In previous laptop, i can use OTP and the web authenticator. But why, it is not working on the new laptop? I have 2 websites requires OTP to login. No QR code also that can be scan.

QR Code Question

I'm working on completely rebranding the company I work for. Everything from the website, trucks, business cards to the shipping boxes. I am basically creating a new brand from the ground up.

I've done this before but I have never used a QR code. My question is I see a lot of QR code generators online that are free. However when I type in the same exact web address I notice the pattern in the code is different from site to site and day to day but, the code I generated last week seems to work fine.

Do QR codes expire and is there a way to pay for one so that a year from now the QR codes on the sides of our trucks don't lead people to some strange porn site or something?

 

Microsoft Authenticator-add up a new account for Amazon

I ever used Microsoft Authenticator for Amazon's Two-Step Verification after which I uninstalled the app from my Android phone without a backup (because I failed to make a backup since there was always a mistake when I tried to do so). Yesterday I
re-installed the app on my phone, but there is no info of my Amazon's account on the app, so I was not able to get a One Time Password (OTP) when Amazon asked me to provide it when I tried to sign in.



Then I tried to add up a new account for Amazon, but the app required me to scan a QR code or input account name & key. The question is I did not record the QR code or the key when I processed Amazon's Two-Step Verification. I then contacted Amazon's
customer service, they could only change password for me but it still asked me to provide the OTP generated by Authenticator when I try to sign in.



It seems I should turn to Microsoft. Basing on the above info, is there a way to recover my account?

 

Need to generate new qr code for ms authenticator app

MS authenticator app responds like the code has already been used and asking me to generate a new qr code . Can you please tell me how to get it . There is no option to get a new one .
