Windows 10: Web browser crashes / does not start when mobile hotspot is switched on

So this is a whole series of problems that I had and I have solved them so far but one solution seems to create a different problem.OK so HP Elitebook, fresh windows install, connected to enterprise network via LAN cable and mobile phone connected to mobile hotspot.All working perfectly until suddenly my hotspot can only send out 5ghz, and for some strange reason my phone will connect to it but there will be no data transfer.Deleted and reinstalled firmware of my Intel Dual band wireless AC 8265 adapter but problem persists. So in adapter properties - advanced changed the value of "802.11a/b/g

Mobile hotspot

When you say you want to hide the mobile hotspot on your computer, did you mean that you want to disable the hotspot connection so no one can connect on it? If this is what you mean, kindly follow the steps provided below:

• Click Start.
• Click Settings icon.
• Go to Network & Internet.
• Select Mobile hotspot found on the left pane.
• You should have the option switch to
  turn off the mobile hotspot.

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
