    Opening web pages in Windows 10

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    Which web browser are you using?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

    • Open the Web page.
    • Click on Gear icon at the top right corner.
    • Click on File and select Save as
    • You can save in different format.
    • Open file Explorer select and right click on web page which is saved in File Explorer.
    • Select open with and Select WordPad or notepad.
    • There you will be able to Edit .

    Please answer the below questions to assist you better.

    Follow the below methods and check if it helps.

    If you are using Internet Explorer then follow the below method

    Method 1:
    Internet Connection troubleshooter

    Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

    Refer these steps:

    1.
    Press Windows key + X Key, select
    Control panel

    2.
    Change the view by option on the top right to
    Large icons.

    3.
    Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

    4.
    Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

    I suggest you to clear all browsing data and cache files from the Microsoft Edge browser and check if it helps. I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

    • First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.
    • After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
    • Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
    • Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like
    • Browsing History
    • Cookies and saved website data
    • Cached data and file
    • Download history
    • Form data
    • Password.

    I have an AT&T HTC 8525 using WM6. Is there a way to use web pages that have frames? The web pages I need I can open (home page) but I can't open or use the different sections. Is there a better browser maybe? Thanks for any suggestions.
