  1. WebBar

There is something called WebBar toolbar on my laptop. It said it was installed on 1-3-18. It was published by WebBar. Is this part of the Windows OS? I want to delete it since I do not know what it is.

  2. WebBar has appeared on the top of my desk top should I be worried

WebBar is a PUP, (Potentially Unwanted Program) that was probably downloaded along with another program. It is not harmful, but if you want to remove it, follow the steps here.

    https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-web-bar-virus/

If it is not listed in the Control Panel, or it can't be removed there, move on to step 2. You might be able to skip the step with HitmanPro. (30 day free trial if needed)

  3. I uninstalled web bar but my browser does not use the space the webbar occupied at the top of the screen.

Webbar was installed unintentionally when downloading other software. I uninstalled webbar. But when I start my browser (MS Edge) it does not occupy the very top of the screen where the toolbar was located.
