Windows 10: Webcam has gone fuzzy and video viewing is not legible

I have attempted to remove the Webcam device and let it reinstall with restart, I have downloaded HP device from their site, and have updated and searched for recommended device in the device management program. Nothing improves the video viewing on camera. Is it possible that an update has interferred with the camera? How can I determine which update? Is there any other advice?ThanksChris

The webcam's functionality may be affected by the settings of the application you're using. The webcam's settings and the application settings can collide. We'd like to ask a few questions to help us identify why there's no video output:

Webcam had disappeared

Hi,

The webcam may have stopped working due to hardware failure, or a loose cable that connects it to the device’s motherboard. We suggest that you try to show hidden devices in
Device Manager by following these steps:

• Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
• Click on the View tab and select Show hidden devices.
  

If you are seeing the webcam drivers, uninstall them. Then restart your device to check if Windows will be able to recognize the webcam and will install the drivers.
