    Webcam not working after windows update.


    My computer recently updated windows 10 and since then my webcam will not work, when I try to use it the screen is blurred out with cam picture that has a line through it. What can I do to fix this? So irritating since I didn't really have a choice to update. Jennifer

    This issue can occur if the camera drivers are not up-to date, your anti-virus may be blocking the camera, or camera app is not installed properly. I would suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article:

    I suggest you to update the driver for webcam from the manufacturer website or by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager      .
    • Expand the driver for webcam.
