    WebCam Solution Windows 10 Update


    With the advent of the latest update, serveral problems have been noted.
    The most recent patch to Windows 10 Update causes many WebCams to
    malfuncton-mine did not even start. Some people had to go back to a
    prior version of Windows 10 for Windows to even function. If you have a WebCam
    this is the fix-it worked for me.
    Regedit: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform
    Create QWORD, (EnableFrameServerMode) and set it to 0 in HEX. Now, WebCam should function. Do not
    include ().
    What other wonders await us in future updates? Microsoft just announced that Windows 8 & 7 will receive
    automatic monthly updates starting in October. There goes the last vestige of individuality in Windows.

    HP dv6140us webcam not listed under image devices after windows 10 update

    Can anyone help me find a soltuion for my webcame please.

    Windows 10 upgraded

    -all windows updates done

    -tried installing webcam drivers

    -checked the internal hardware connection to see if it was loose

    -can not find a solution anywhere

    -no webcam listed under image devices

    -hp support for drivers is useless with windows 10
