Windows 10: WEDR, my desktop and windows explorer does not refresh by its self, I have to press F5 or...

Hello,

I am having this strange bug where windows explorer (and desktop) does not refresh by its self (WEDR)... I've had it before, editing the donotrefresh registry worked. But this time it did nothing...

I've tried (didn't work):

1. Registry edit donotrefresh key
2. Restore folder display defaults
3. Network drives - I don't have any but I still did the procedure to make sure.
4. Restore default icons
5. Rebuilding icon cache and thumbnail cache
6. Killing/Restarting Explorer.exe

Please help this is getting so annoying

How long it takes to refresh desktop(F5)

Automatic refresh doesn't work in File Explorer, Desktop, Recycle etc.


Same in the safe mode, no changes...

I have tried pretty much all those suggestions from various sites, but none of them worked for me.
What I have seems to be a major issue, they even call it WEDR bug.
The only thing that slightly changed recently... sometimes, a few times I managed to get automatic refresh for the Desktop, if I for example do the right click and create a new folder, it does create instantly and is visible straight away.... hoewever this never happens in Windows Explorer... I think I once got a file in C: to be processed automatically but thats it... and never had ANY automatic refresh for any of the folders and files on external drives.

How can I manually enforce refresh File Explorer view?

If I press F5 key then from the right side a "Project" pane appears with entries like "PC screen only",
"Duplicate", "Extend", ....)

So whats that?
Is F5 (accidentially) false-assigned? How can re-assign "normal" refresh meaning?
