Windows 10: Weird background in Windows 10

Ever since I switched to a custom background, I've been experiencing some problems.

My Windows 10 Background Is supposed to look like:





But if a fullscreen program runs, a UAC Windows pops up, etc, It will look like:





*Info

Is there a way to fix this?
and why is this happening?

I would suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Perform System File Checker (sfc) scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Note: Steps mentioned for Windows 8/8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.



Method 2: Clean boot.

I request you to place the computer in Clean boot and check if it helps.



A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows.
You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

Background is being weird

Hey,

So every now and then my desktop background changes almost like something is covering it. The only way I've figured out to temporarily fix it is by right clicking my desktop and selecting "personalise'' and then it changes back to normal.

Any ideas for a perm fix?

Very strange. Never seen this before and i tried hundreds. This happens with other backgrounds too? Don't know how to fix this.
