Windows 10: Weird BSOD when using & BSOD when cold boot - Lenovo Laptop

Pls someone save my life. I spent 7 days on this laptop but still can't find the cause.Problem:1. Weird BSOD: The laptop just suddenly BSOD glitch then Restart normally Plugged-in. It does not happen frequently, very rare,2. BSOD cold boot: The BSOD happens frequently as soon as the Windows starts booting Cold boot. But working fine after reboot again. Weird BSOD problem


Hi Everyone,

I have a weird BSOD problem which I cannot solve for a while(it persists still after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7)

The main strange thing about this is that I get BSOD only after cold boot.
So it acts like this:

1. start PC.
2. Get to Windows Logo Screen
3. BSOD
4. Restart
5. Get to menu where I can try to repair or Start NormallyIf I Choose Repair, it will fail to repair and will try to restoreIf I Choose Start Normally, it will start OK, no BSOD, can work normally, games, browse internet, everything is normal.6. Shutdown PC
7. Next time when I start is all over again i.e. Go to Step 1

I have this problem for a while, so what I tried:

1. Another Windows 7
2. Another HDD
3. Only HDD connected
4. Changed RAM
5. Tried with built in GPU
6. Upgraded to Windows 10

Result is the same as above every time.

Please suggest what could be the cause.

PS. This thread is a continuation of this one: Frequent multiple errors BSOD. Solved - Windows 7 Help Forums the only thing changed is Windows 10 now. instead of Windows 7. If that helps somehow.

 

nvidia forceware 310.90 drivers cold boot bsod

hi all!

up until forceware 310.90 were released i used without any problems older 310.70 wich nvidia and some dude flagged as having security holes, so when nvidia released 310.90 i like many others downloaded them and installed them. Now like many others i have cold boot bsod (so 'only' on first boot of the system...) I uninstalled these obviously faulty drivers and installed the previous ones but cold boot bsod remains a big f*****g problem...

now until nvidia publishes a fixed drivers..anyone has any advice how to getz rid of the bsod
p.s.games workin fine, temps on mbo, cpu and gpu still normal

ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems
