Windows 10: Weird clear square on screen that says loading when i hover over it

Im not sure why but my computer has a weird square that popped up and whenever i hover over it says something is loading, been here for the past few hours.

The pop up information when hovering over an icon and in some files is unreadable in Win 10. See screen images.





If anyone had this problem and have solved it please explain how.

 

Weird occurrence - desktop won't load, spinning wheel etc

EDIT : I did what you said and tried without G (second time, didn't take screen shots), same error. I did notice that NTFS Primary 3 (NONE) doesn't have a drive letter associated with it?

 

Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:

1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
3. Restart Windows.

I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?
