Windows 10: Weird crashing behaviour with exe/install wizards and other windows 10 tools.

Hello, I've asked a similar question before, but the issue is back and nothing seems to be helping from the previous answer.I'm getting a weird crashing behaviour when opening up exe files and running install wizards. They will open, work for a couple of seconds, freeze for a second then close with no error dialogue or anything to signify what went wrong.The same happens with WinRar when opening an archive. The archive opens, stays open and responsive for a couple of seconds, then freezes and crashes. When the applications freeze, they don't change opacity like normal when applications become

I suggest you to update all the windows updates and install all the latest drivers.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Press Windows Key and type troubleshooting.

  Click Troubleshooting. Click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
  
• 
  Click next, select Not Listed. Click Next.
  
• 
  Click Browse and select the installer that you downloaded using the link above.
  
• 
  Click next, click Troubleshoot program.
  
• 
  Check The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now box.
  
• 
  Click next, select the last known working operating system for this driver.

For Visual Studio.

I suggest you to install the Visual Studio in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install software in compatibility mode:

1. Download the software from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the software and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the software install and then check the functionality.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Weird behaviour with updates

Yeah, that's cool,
Also, in this new version of windows 10 (2004) ,he can pause the updates for 5 weeks.
Or limit bandwidth for the update. (Advanced options > Delivery Optimization > Advanced Options )

And If you don't like getting disturbed by updates, then you might want to disable those options.
