Windows 10: Weird hardware (?) problem. Problem persisted through clean Windows installation

Had a power outage last night and could not open any files (error code 0x0000005 & 0x0000142).

I backed up all important data to hard drive and reset it windows way, the problem still persisted.

I used DISM and /sfc scannow and the results says some files couldn't be fixed. I, then, clean wiped and reinstalled Windows with a USB, problem still persisted through all that.

Curiously enough, programs and files (or most of them) run normally in safe mode with networking, used to install most my other drivers with the exception of GPU

I tried turning off, disconnecting all wires and holding the power button to completely discharge the PC, I even tried placing my RAM sticks (I have 4) individually and mobo battery for 30 mins. Nothing seems to work at this point. I'm thinking it's a hardware (mobo, gpu or cpu) failure

AMD 7970 weird startup problems

Yes, they were clean installs. I formated whole disk, then installed Windows 7/10, aswell as drivers after the problem started.

I'm going to test my gpu in my friend's configuration on windows 7 to see if it really is hardware problem.

 

Weird BSOD problem


Hi Everyone,

I have a weird BSOD problem which I cannot solve for a while(it persists still after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7)

The main strange thing about this is that I get BSOD only after cold boot.
So it acts like this:

1. start PC.
2. Get to Windows Logo Screen
3. BSOD
4. Restart
5. Get to menu where I can try to repair or Start NormallyIf I Choose Repair, it will fail to repair and will try to restoreIf I Choose Start Normally, it will start OK, no BSOD, can work normally, games, browse internet, everything is normal.6. Shutdown PC
7. Next time when I start is all over again i.e. Go to Step 1

I have this problem for a while, so what I tried:

1. Another Windows 7
2. Another HDD
3. Only HDD connected
4. Changed RAM
5. Tried with built in GPU
6. Upgraded to Windows 10

Result is the same as above every time.

Please suggest what could be the cause.
