Windows 10: Weird HTML/Browser DPI scaling issue via Windows RDP

Hello!I have been experiencing a very strange RDP display issue for some months now:Using my HP laptop 17" 1600x900 pixels as RDP client, remote Web-based apps are rendered zoomed/up-scaled.Independent of remote computer or VM tested 3x Windows 10, 2x Server 2012, Server 2016Only HTML content is affected, desktop applications and OS components render normallyAffected are all ! browsers Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Web/Electron-based apps like Teams Client, Visual Studio CodeOnly remote: local apps/browsers on the laptop work fineRe-Installing Win10 and even a clean install of Win11 on the

• Were there any changes to your device prior to the issue?
• Is it only happening to Spotify or Discord app?
• What are the troubleshooting steps done by the live support?

Disable High DPI Automatic Scaling

What we can suggest to resolve the issue with your DPI settings is by following the steps on this
article. Please note that these are only workarounds. DPI Scaling issues can be very tricky as these
can involve multiple PC configuration. You would need to report this on our
Feedback Hub for our Engineers to be notified of the issue as stated on the article.

Blurry images/icons on browsers, windows 10, dpi scaling problem

Scenario:

• Windows10 (version 1607)
• Resolution 1980x1080 (HD)
• Monitor laptop touch screen
• Size 125% / 150%

Principal issue: all the images and icons on browser are blurry, tested on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. Follow a screenshot





Banally the browser goes zoom at 125% and the images goes to blur. Is Not ammissible and without a sense.

I have read some forum in the last week and many people have a similar problems

I think it is a problem of DPI scaling. I set my machine to use dpi scaling of windows 8, it's work for some apps but not for the browser.

Help us to get windows 10 to use DPI in the right mode.

Notes:

Set windows at 100% size is not a fix or an answer. The people don't use an HD monitor to work with small app, fonts etc.

The people want sharp resolution!
