Windows 10: Weird latency issues and stuttering since updating windows 10 to 2004

Hi, yesterday my windows 10 updated to this damn 2004 version of it and ever since I get random weird lag spikes in video and audio, so today I've found out about latecymon and the problem seems to be from the nvidia drivers and storport.sys apparently: https://gyazo.com/780ee0a53f331829920cbc49184e4eed

I don't even have the option to roll back to the previous version of windows so I'm trying to figure out a way to fix this on the new one but I don't know what's causing this, tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers, realtek drivers, turning off the game mode option in windows, turning on the gpu accelerated new option in windows, a few power settings and a couple more thing but it seems to keep coming back. I've seen quite a lot of similar posts of people having stuttering problems with 2004, a lot of them having the same GPU I do, 2070 super, maybe it's just an incompatibility issues with the new windows update?

Having Bluetooth Stuttering Issues on Windows 10

I've been facing the same bluetooth issues for months. I have a thinkpad p52, and it has an Intel Wireless AC9560.

• JBL Flip 4 stutters
• Galaxy Buds stutter
• Amazon Echo stutters
• Xbox One controller has latency issues and stutters as well.

I have tried changing every setting available, reinstalling windows, changing drivers, all with no avail. I'm not sure what else it could be other than a Windows 10 issue.

Hi, if you search for e.g. 'stuttering' or 'latency' using the search box above, you will find other threads posted about latency issues. These are not easy to address - ideally you would see threads marked Solved in the title.

One person who did resolve this found he had to install
Intel Rapid Storage Driver
for his SSD (don't know if you've got a SSD).
And very shortly afterwards, a BIOS update that came out.

Would suggest you search first and see if anything helps, then post back with exactly what you've tried.

 

latency issues, random stutter + audio stutter

hey, im having dificultys with my pc. im having problem with every task im doing, even playing a yt video. so the problem is im having random freezes and audio freezes/lags every 10-40 mins. i dont exactly know whats causing it but im pretty sure its not the disks/ram. ive ran a test on a program called latencymon and thats all ive got. let me know what tests i should do to help give more information about the problem and i will. ive been having the problem for like half a year now and its pissing me off. heres a picture that might help : (bios is last version btw). also ive gotten a lag that made the pc black screen and audio loop and i had to force restart!
