Windows 10: Weird logo when opening outlook mail on windows 10

Hello,I have a question about something that occurs when I open my email on the outlook application.It doesn't open the window selected but another one with al logo Outlook New.It doesn't occur on another pc I have in windows 10 where it open with the mail logo.I had a virus issue recently, that I think I managed to get rid of with partial windows reinstallation, sparing files.But I'm attentive to any weird behaviour on my pc, and was wondering if it was a normal thing or not.I tried to load an image to illustrate what I'm talking about but failed to upload it so I hope only the description wi

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.
