Windows 10: Weird Mouse Lag

SO the last few days my PC will randomly....err how to describe this...i will be moving around my desktop and the entire system will just go to a halt and the mouse will stop moving completely but the pc will not be frozen, the start menu takes 10 seconds to open and i am unable to click on anything. The only screen i can navigate perfectly with the mouse is the CTRL+ALT+DELETE screen i just restart the PC and its fineWindows 11AMD RX 6600Intel Core i3 12100F32GB DDR4 2666 Ram120gb SSD Boot1tb M.2 everything elseLG C2 OLED 4K 120hz VRR TV if this is needed at allDesktop is in 4096x216

Mouse Lag!?!

Basically what it does is remove the mouse acceleration in XP. The mouse will feel slower at first, but eventually you'll get used to it... the only reason why I suggested the mouse fix was because mouse acceleration sometimes causes the sensation of having a laggy mouse (laggy meaning responding slowly). If you meant lag as in jumping around and generally not being responsive, then I guess you'll need to wait for more suggestions *Smile

 

Weird mouse lag

Hello community, i'm here for a really weird problem:

3 weeks ago i upgraded my gaming PC with:

-i5 9600kf

-asus dual rx580 8G

-asus rog strix b-360

-asus rog cpu cooler

-corsair ram 16 gb ddr4

When the agency gave me back the PC i turned it on to play battlefield 5 and i join a match.

When i joined i see that when i move the mouse the screen updates like 2 seconds later with smooth mouse lag. (logitech G203)

i tried another USB but nothing changed, so i tried it in another game and same thing really weird lag.

My monitor is a: MSI optix MAG241c

So i tried to plug a old office plug-and-play mouse and everything worked fine but with a mouse with drivers it does those things, i tried updating ghub and every kind of driver.

I tried the Logitech G203 onto another computer and it worked perfectly.

Hope you can help me because its really annoying.

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
• Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.
