Windows 10: Weird MSFT XVDD virtual disks

Hi im trying to clone my HDD to my SSD using a western digital ulitity application its the only one i could find that didnt cost however whenever i try to clone it i get an issue with two new drives that have appeared that are MSFT XVDD drives. The only thing i can find on them on the internet links them to some sort of xbox windows update. I did have the game pass on my PC but i deleted it. It seems 69.98GBs of my main hard drive is being reserved for one of them i wondered why my HDD was at 931GB capacity and a few mb for the other. How do i delete these/return the allocated storage to my main hard drive. They only show up on advanced partition softwares such as aomei and Acronis but dont show up on the regular system i.e. storage managment.

I suggest you to start the Virtual Disk Service and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + R from the Keyboard.
• Type services.msc and hit Enter.
• In the Services Window, look for Virtual Disk service and
  Stop it.
• Restart the computer and Start the Virtual Disk
  service and set it to Automatic.
• Restart the computer and it check if it works.

Virtual disk service wont start

Worked the first time i tried it then after closing the application and trying to start again the disk service would not start anymore.

Be aware that everything inside your virtual disk will be deleted.

In order to delete a virtual disk , you will need to:

- press Window + R at the same time

- Execute ‘diskmgmt.msc’ and click OK

- The Disk Management window will open

- Please right-click on the virtual disk listed in the Volume column (your 10 Gb drive)

Then you can extend your main disk so that it uses the new allocated space.
