Windows 10: Weird performance drop

This used to never happen to me. My game is constantly getting 15 or under FPS, when I usually get 60 with the same amount of CPU, GPU and Memory usage. Also even if I restart the game it will still have the same problem, and I actually have to restart the whole laptop. Even with the game closed every program still runs slow.Even when I close down almost everything, restart the game it's still stuck below 15 FPS.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Windows 10 performance issue and overall weird behaviour

Hello,

Well first off I am very thankful for anyone deciding to help me with this because it is very very weird.

So I have installed a fresh version of windows 10 on my new computer. I've installed programs and games and everything worked fine and very fast (DDR4 memory, intel i7 skylake, gtx980) - beefy computer. But suddenly everything went weird.

First thing I noticed was that I wasn't able to rearrange start menu icons on the start menu, the option to pin to start disappeared. I also noticed a very significant drop in performance some games are now running at 5-10 fps where as before they were running
at 60+ easily.

If anyone knows any way of fixing this problem please suggest it.
