    Weird pop-up ad on start-up - Windows 11


    Ever since the last update, a website exness.com automatically opens on my default browser Google Chrome upon startup. I checked my browser history and the first time I've come across this site is when the pop-ups first started - roughly 3 weeks ago.To resolve the issue, I have tried: Resetting the Chrome BrowserUninstalling and reinstalling ChromeClearing data like cookies, cache, etc.Upon further investigation online, I learned that it could be a Windows issue and I was advised to turn off notifications and Personalised Ads on Windows 11 in the privacy settings.     Weird CMD windows popping up

    Check Task Scheduler to see if something might have been added to run at any given time.

    Can you easily duplicate it?

    Are you able to take a screenshot or record a video as @natr0n suggested?

    Check Programs and Features to confirm you're aware of all installed software and packages.

    Check Event Viewer as @natr0n suggested as well.
