Windows 10: Weird popping/clicking sound when adjusting audio quickly and fast forwarding videos on...

Hey so i have a simple question. I have tried many things. Update driver, unplug usb, restart my pc, troubleshoot and etc.My main question and only question is. Is that an PC/Motherboard problem ? Or is this an electricity on PC problem ? Or the wired USB cable on the headset that's not great, btw i use a long USB cable to connect headset to PC HyperX ?Any ideas ? I mean when i don't fast click the sound and fast forward the video the sound works perfectly fine. Just want to know what this could be ? Is this normal for everyone ?

Minor issue with audio/video fast forward/backward popping sound on video/music player

My Lumia 820 produces a loud popping sound when fast-forwarding videos. It happens both during playing streamed and recorded content, and is most audible when sound is muted and the recording played back is loud. I didn't notice this problem in youtube's
html5 player in IE.

Minor issue with audio/video fast forward/backward popping sound on video/music player

Hi there,

I think a lot of people have this minor bug and is not widely discussed as they just keep ignoring it.

So, the problem is with audio/video fast forward/backward popping sound. However, there are some nuances. It occurs (most of the time) when the following conditions are met (from my own and other users' experience):

1) It occurs when the video/music is streamed, if it is downloaded and played on the device, it's working fine.

2) Same issue occurs on BOTH Streaming and Pre-downloaded content in Podcasts app.

3) It does NOT happen when the video is played directly through the IE browser (like youtube videos played directly from the browser, not opened by the video app).

It happens to various devices running 8.1 and higher. CANNOT confirm if it's the same on WP 8.0. However, I can tell it was since WP 8.1 Dev Preview for sure.

I am using Lumia 925 with WP 8.1+official cyan+update 1 (dev preview).

Also, tried to restore the phone to WP 8.0 through NSU and updating again, still the same problem.

Video and audio playback far too fast when switching to monitor's audio output

My MacBook Pro 2015 is running Windows 10 (1709), and when my external BenQ monitor is plugged in using HDMI, video and audio playback goes way too fast, playing as if it is trying to get to the end of the video as quickly as possible. This applies to YouTube videos, but also system sounds, such as the chime when adjusting the volume from the system tray (it sounds more like a chirp than a chime).

After clicking on the audio icon, if I have the speakers set to the laptop's internal speakers (Cirrus Logic CS4208) then everything is fine (including video playback on the monitor) but if I switch the audio to the monitor's speakers (BenQ GW2765, Intel(R) Display Audio) then videos are unwatchable (in Edge and Chrome).

Any ideas on where to go next to fix this?
