Windows 10: Weird problem installing 1903 or 1909 - blue screen repeatedly

This all started with a Windows Update problem. I couldn't get certain updates to work - they would blue screen repeatedly. I was able to get back into safe mode and uninstall the recent updates to fix it, but it keeps doing this.

After a couple of hours of monkeying with this, I just downloaded the 1909 iso and went to do an update. Which also failed. Then I tried an old 1903 iso I had laying around. Also failed.

In each case I get an install failed 0xc1900101 message. I've gone through all the troubleshooting I could find on google to no avail. I even went so far as to backup my machine and try a wipe/install and those fail as well.

What can I do to get the 1909 to work? Any ideas?

Blue Screen Problems

Hello all. I have been plagued with frequent BSODs on my main computer. (see system specs for details) I am getting "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area", or the 0x50 stop error, blue-screens.
What I read on Google suggested that this blue-screen indicated a memory or hard drive error. I ran memtest86+, which passed, and chkdsk, which found no problems. I took all of my components down to stock clocks, and that didn't help. Does anyone have any experience or advice as to what I should try next?
