Windows 10: Weird Program Trying to Open [PREVIEW]

[SERIOUS REPLYS ONLY, THIS IS REAL, NO MEMES] Everyday at around 5:01 AM, a Windows popup asks how I want to open this program (Just like the 'open with' command), this has been happening for a while and I never opened it because I didn't know what it was. I don't think it was a virus as I have a lot of security precautions on my computer and did a full virus scan with Avira (The best free anti-virus, this is a fact not opinion) a few days ago after it started happening. I can't find the program in the 'open program at this time thingy menu' and I haven't downloaded anything that would do that. I recently opened it, but in Notepad out of fear of being a virus because I think opening a virus in Notepad would be safer than opening it in anything else, and it was called Program.(txt because I opened it in notepad, I don't know what the file was, probably .exe) and that's weird. Windows also didn't tell me what the program wanted to be opened with.

Delete and Cut Files with Preview Pane Open

• Have you tried to delete the pdf file in preview panel?
• What exactly happens when try to delete the pdf file?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open File Explorer.
  
• 
  Select View and click on preview panel.
  
• 
  Select the pdf file.
  
• 
  At the right corner you will be able to see preview panel.
  
• 
  You can right click on it and delete the files.

Opening programs on a twin monitor setup

Hi,

To further assist you, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Hover to the open application on the taskbar.
• You'll get a miniature Preview screen of the said application.
• Hover your mouse over the Preview screen.
• Right click on Restore.
• Re-hover over the same Preview screen.
• Right click on Move.
• Use the arrow keys to move the application on your desired screen/position.

Preview pane not functional / causing system issues

We can see here that you're having an issue with using the preview pane for File Explorer. Since using the preview pane affects the CPU usage when trying to view Office files, we could suggest that you changed your File Explorer View setting into the Navigation
pane by performing the following steps:

• Open File Explorer.
• Click on the View tab.
• Select Preview pane to remove it from being highlighted.

Once done, try to open files using Office apps and check if this helps your Surface Pro 4 works fine.
