Windows 10: Weird red squares show up on my screen

They're caught on screenshot so I assume it's not a monitor issue. They go away when I switch windows or tabs, so it might be related to reddit specifically? Although I don't see how that's possible, or maybe a graphics driver issue? It's the first time this has happened and it's not recurring for the time being after happening twice, but it feels like it might be a sign of potentially bigger issue so I need help identifying what it is, thank you. Strangely irritating to look at too.

Red squares

Hi, I need help with my laptop. I did my research and apparently it says my graphic card is failing but I can't change the graphic card since long story. So, what happen is some random red squares or rectangle appears in different sizes. Sometimes it appears one by one and sometimes it appears multiple time in 2 second and then the squares immediately vanish. Sometimes for like a second when I open another tab my entire screen becomes red and then it became normal again. Red squares also appear when something is loading. E.G a YouTube video is loading, and instead of a spinning arrow in a circle motion a spinning red square appears replacing it.

Is the red square visible when you first power up the PC? or is it just visible when you login to your user profile?

 

Problems with red and green squares showing up on screen

Hello, I have recently been having trouble with Red, Green, yellow, and black squares (Kind of like a color selector) showing up on my laptop. Its shows up on the sides of Google Chrome when I type stuff in, also in the scroll bar on the left hand of my screen (Only in google docs), as well as on random ads with plain text with white backgrounds. It has also occasionally shown up in text boxes. The colored boxes show up when I screenshot so maybe it's a GPU problem (This is what I believe it is but I want to get confirmation). I was also thinking it could possibly be a graphic card malfunction or malware.

Can anyone help?
