  1. weird scary noise after windows 10 updating during boot

I had just finished working around with uninstalling stuff off of my hard drive, and once I finished, I saw I had a windows update, I then updated and I got to the windows 10 boot screen, after the blue windows icon went away I was left with a black screen and the windows loading bar, after a little bit of waiting my speakers turned on and started playing a noise that was extremely loud and it chilled me to the core. I tried recording it but it was to late, the sound ceased. An interesting thing to note is before I rebooted it, there was an application by the name of {1274d398-c3c8-422e-87dd-2faffd5a7f2f} that was preventing me from restating, and I just waited until it decided to close on its own. If anyone knows what caused that issue, I’m all ears. I’m absolutely clueless.

    :)

  2. Weird Noise after Anniversary Update

    Hello John,

Let’s check what is causing that weird sound on your laptop.

Based on the link that you had provided, it seems that it’s either your CPU fan or Hard drive which is creating that sound.

If it’s the CPU fan, it might be an issue due to heavy processing, processor heating up or changes made during the update. If it’s your Hard drive, the issue might be with HDD performance. We suggest you to back up all your data to your external drive
    to prevent data loss.

Follow these steps to resolve your issue:

Step 1: Check your Task Manager

Close all applications and check in task manager for any high usage of resources by any process.

    • Press Ctrl + Shift+ Esc together to open task manager.
    • Click on more details and check for any apps that is taking more resources.
    • Take note of any Applications that are taking High CPU usages and try to disable it if it’s not that important.
Step 2: Start your computer in Safe Mode

Safe mode will start computer with basic drivers to check what might be causing the issue in normal functioning of computer. Check if the weird sounds are still happening.

    Start computer in Safe Mode

Step 3: Run Hardware and Device troubleshooter

    • Press Windows + W, and type troubleshooting.
    • From the search list, click on troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane click on view all to get the list.
    • Click on hardware and devices troubleshooter.
    • Follow the on screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting.
Hardware and device troubleshooter is an inbuilt troubleshooter that will find the issues with hardware devices and try to fix them automatically.

    Let us know what happens.

  3. Weird Spooky Noises Coming From Laptop

My HP laptop With a Pentium Processor has started to make really weird spooky noises.

The noise starts during the boot and wont stop until I force shut down my laptop using the power key.

The laptop has Windows 10, and I have recently updated the same to a latest version until which the laptop seemed to be working fine.

After around an hour of the update there has been noises. These noises would stop if I mute the sounds of the computer.

    Could it be some virus?

Also, the noises are very well designed. Whenever i move my laptop there is scratching noise as if the hardware is about it fail. Rest of the time its weird spooky noises. Further, my voice is being echoed as well in the computer. If I say something i hear
the same in an echo like tone from the computer but i never turned my microphone on. I believe its a virus because no noises come after I mute.

What could be a possible solution?

    Please help.
